SynopsisI knew that I wanted to create a lighthearted, brightly-colored film, and I came up with the idea of a character that is trying to put a prized item on a shelf, but keeps getting disrupted by an unknown force. I was inspired by cartoons like Tom and Jerry and Looney Toons, with physical comedy and over-exaggerated facial expressions. I ended up with a sock puppet-like character because I felt that it would be a fun style to work with for my vision, and would be relatively easy to draw over and over again.
