In 1920s Buenos Aires, a city shaped by European immigration, a family of rats peacefully roams Plaza de Mayo, sustained by a kind-hearted baker who shares his empanadas with them. However, the governor, repulsed by the rodents, travels to Paris and discovers skilled hunting pigeons. Upon returning, despite witnessing the harmony between people and the rats, he releases the French pigeons in the plaza. With these new predators patrolling their home, the rats are faced to question if there's a place for them in the plaza anymore. And, the governor realizes that pigeons are not what he was expecting.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Juan gained experience in many art forms throughout his elementary and secondary education from playing in jazz combos to acting in Shakespeare adaptations. He also got immersed in Computer Animation at the age of 10. After he graduated as a Film Director at FUC (Fundación Universidad del Cine), he moved to the USA to work in the film and animation industry. As an animation generalist, he worked in diverse roles from story development to post-production. Lately he has been focusing in shot design and previs for projects like Cyberpunk 2, Fortnite cinematics and movies like Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and The Hunger Games prequel. As he continues to grow in his career, he develops his own directorial work to represent Latino culture. He was two times finalist and one time winner of Netflix and LFI's Animation Directors Fellowship.
