A young girl grapples with a horrifying realization about how moondrops come to be
Eman Mughal
Eman Mughal is a recent graduate from Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Animation program, where she focused on stop-motion animation and compositing. She recently completed her thesis film 'The Moondrop Factory', made using stop motion puppets on greenscreen to composite over digital and live-action assets. She is also 1/13th of Silverfish Pictures, the creators of 'Bugsick', which previously screened at OIAF, Reel Asians, Air Canada flights, and more. She is currently working as a compositor in Toronto. Moving forward she hopes to tell more stories that can further explore the creative and technical intersections between digital VFX and stop motion, and tell more heartfelt stories in the slightly unsettling style that stop motion often brings.
