Despite their clashing personalities, a group of friends do everything in their power to ensure the perfect romantic proposal for one of their own. With a candle-lit proposal site fully decorated, a firework show ready to light up the sky, and a strategically timed plan in place, success feels inevitable. That is until a missing lighter, a small dog, and a lack of critical thinking sends the group into a chain of chaotic misadventures. Divided into groups, in spite of how simple their instructions were, they manage to unintentionally sabotage one another as the evening unfolds. From being locked within a school classroom to being halted by an unusually agile old-timer, the friends race against the clock to salvage the night. Blending absurd humor, physical comedy, and escalating chaos, this animated short film gives stage to some lovable screwups as they jump, or more so run through, many hurdles to show just how far they’ll go for one of their own.
